Bill Stahl has a 25+ year history in CGI. He was a Modeling Supervisor at Dreamworks Animation for 14 years. Bill worked on several films, including Shrek, Shrek2, Shrek3, and Megamind. Bill is an expert in low poly, high poly, and NURBS modeling.
Bill is a 3D generalist and has worked on projects at Google, Mursion Inc., Toy Talk, Atomic Fiction, Creative Game Technologies, and 32K Studios. Those jobs included using the skills of modeling, rigging, surfacing/texture painting, and lighting in Unity 3D. Bill has also worked in the field of 3D structured light scanning and printing of humans and objects for The Artec Group, Google, and Outward Inc. He is an expert in generating usable scan data and converting that data to usable forms for entertainment and consumer product visualization. At Mursion Bill created and animated lifelike human avatars for VR simulations to teach soft skills through improvisation.
